proposed. We believed that nevirapine should be added to the list of drugs that can cause DRESS syndrome. The patient must be closely watched while being treated with this medication because DRESS syndrome has a mortality rate of 10% (generally because of liver involvement). Therefore, if symptoms are suggestive of DRESS syndrome, it is necessary to discontinue all treatment, and the patient should be admitted to the hospital and closely monitored for possible complications.
